Afro Blue me away!
This show has some great moments. Kimock's solos on The Weight, Six Days, and Catalina are top notch, and tunes like Tear Tags and Berm are always fun. The peak of this show, however, is without question the masterpiece of psychedelic jazz rock known as Afro Blue. I feel confident in assuming that this performance rivals anything that's ever been played at this historic venue. There is a point at around the 10:20 mark where Kimock and Vega meet at an apex and the jam(which was already great)just launches into the stratosphere. Truly exhilarating!
